Tree slaughter for religion
Spare a thought this festive season for the many living trees that are sacrificed to serve decorative and religious purposes for a few weeks or sometimes days and then tossed out. There is nothing in this Pagan origin Xmas tradition, that presupposes the tree has to be killed. For goodness sake, get a living specimen and plant it. Living trees are nice, yet there is unfortunately all too often, a strange hostility directed towards them.
They face efforts to stunt, prune and poison them wherever they grow in the suburbs. Tall trees, the loveliest, are particularly resented and are often killed on questionable pretexts such as; a branch might fall, falling leaves, interrupts view, blocks light, untidy, maintenance cost, attracts wildlife, obstructs architecture.
Trees are actually fantastic living sculptures that frame, not obstruct, the view and provide a wonderful no maintenance arena to see birds and wildlife in the natural setting. If the leaves are thin cover or deciduous then light passes through although subdued and gloomy forest light effects from conifers and thickly wooded areas have unique beauty and provide mood lighting with no artificial parallel. They are also wind control devises and barriers and groups are most effective and less likely to fall.

The inexplicability of religion

Who knows what horror and violence this extremely disturbed lady experienced that caused her to do something this terrible.
One can only speculate at this stage until such time as the facts are known in court and analysed, perhaps the truth of why and how she could do this will be clear.
Arranged marriage and subsequent childbirth for cultural reasons may be a catalyst for madness and there is much evidence of high incidence of psychosis in parties to these religious partnerships for the purpose of childbearing. Females can enter these relationships as chattels and be in shock as their disempowerment and misery lock in. They may find themselves forced into intimacy with a stranger. Childbirth is a part and extension of the torment for them and can send them over the edge.
Drugs are often a part of this kind of religious existence, with the purpose of lulling the senses and extinguishing intellectual argument and as is well known, mind altering substances are implicated in brain tissue damage. With unpredictable effects and consequences.
If people really wish to hide behind the grim, concealing garments with only eyes showing, maybe this is actually an indication of imbalance in the person beneath the dark religious garment. I have never heard of an Atheist wearing such apparel or of doing this to a child.
There is a religious precedence for infanticide in the Bible, when God asks that a child be offered for sacrifice to test faith and then reneges after the parent agrees and delivers the child to God for sacrifice. The barbaric and inhumane practise of circumcision is another brutality that looks to the Bible for justification.
Religion is not supposed to come to this and yet it has and not surprising.
Diminished importance of females is also a legacy of religion. Was this child murdered because she was female?

The antiques market may be rubbing their hands with glee at the thought of the pews and freed up flagstones exciting home renovators, but English Heritage and tourism industry will see the irate parishioner's point. Atheists with UK ancestory just despair of the greedy religious managements with their hands on the people's history and no apparent wish or ability to custodian it properly. The Wikileak Revelations
While poor Julian Assange rots in prison on trumped up charges at the behest of The State, the leaked Vatican Irish memos are being published in mainstream media. What they reveal is yet more corruption and collusion of The State by religion. In this case to cover up an endemic culture of pedophilia in the church involving denial and cover ups of the wide spread abuse. Of course this abuse is worldwide not just in Ireland and not just within Catholicism circles so that the State colluding in this worldwide has implications for all child abuse everywhere as a dangerous continuing pattern is set of downplaying these crimes and punishing victims who speak out.
The picture of religion as analogous to a subterranean creature with poisonous tentacles that reach out everywhere and contaminate everything is rendered poignant by these wikileak memos of correspondence between officials of the Irish Government and The Vatican.
Another aspect of these wikileaks reveals complications caused to nations by the interweaving of religion into the mechanics of The State. With disputing Christian sects perceived as still holding the power to tear The State apart.
With looming threats from other religions fighting for dominance, who needs any of them? The State needs to reassert secularist principles and be free of all religious influence.

They are described in the article as a -Hate Church- and are American rural based and centred mainly around the head preacher's large family. Maybe they think it is acceptable to conduct public protests at a funeral. They may have their twisted religious reasons. Their behaviour is counterproductive to their cause,vulgar,nasty and intimidating. People who work their medical sagas to push religion must now be viewed as possibly only doing this to avoid being bullied by organized religious groups like these.

Taxpayers fund church abuse
Australians who were physically and psychologically abused and used as child labour in Salvation Army run children's homes are now calling on the government to fund compensation packages. They say they will never get over the abuse, that an apology from the Salvation Army is not enough and can never wipe away the scars and that the government should compensate them as the state allowed the church to abuse them.
Meanwhile the church which constantly garners money from the public for investment and spending on a perpetual and emotive self advertising cycle accumulates hundreds of millions of dollars.
Advertising itself is tax deductible and for charities tax is doubly avoided. Many Australian church groups invested in Lehman Brothers and massive public funds have consequently been embezzled in that saga.
The public should object to this as they are being cheated and it is unconscionable to exploit terrible social problems such as alcoholism and domestic violence for profits which are then squandered with these social problems increasing regardless. Alcoholism is only reduced by state alcohol control systems and domestic violence is reduced as a follow on effect. Smaller family sizes, better housing, more homogeneous societies and smaller populations are the factors that reduce social problems. Religion does not contribute one iota to achieve this. When legal issues occur and political decisions are made we then find the whole system is infiltrated and comprimised by retrogressive religious doctrine. So much harm and expense caused all because religious training in harmful, dangerous rituals is not stopped. Because religious damage does seep over into the real world and they do influence non religious practises even in science where decisions have been made in naivite without knowing the origin of the research they are based on. When you consider the plethora of discredited, dangerous,sinister therapies, treatments and devises already linked to the psych field and perpetuated in medical practise, this link to occult practises is no surprise.

Airport Medical Experiment

An experiment is currently underway at airport terminals, using the public as guinea pigs to test the efficacy of scanning equipment to cause cancers in humans. Smaller and slimmer people, such as children, females and those carrying less body fat will be subject to increased doses of radiation in proportion to surface area exposure ratio and internal organ exposure.
This will be an extension of the hazardous experiments currently underway in hospitals and clinics using CT scanners emitting irregular doses of radiation to give people cancer.

Exorcism Voodoo link

Who is behind this? Satanists could be, according to a leading catholic exorcist who has recently published a book on satanism and demonic influence in the church.

This medievalist revivalism in the church distracts attention from the victims of sex abuse by priests. Reportedly this practise has been remarketed in Poland and USA where churches have trained up priests to perform exorcism on buildings, property, pets and people for payment(not sure how much. Probably depends how rich the clients are.) Psych trained proffessionals are also reportedly involved in this conjointly with priests as are trained and amateur actors, drama teachers, artists, sales people, accountants and net workers.
Why exorcism has had a resurgence is because of all of the above people's involvement including celebrities, such as beautiful and talented US screen goddess Gwyneth Paltrow who has in the past reportedly had a house exorcised. People enjoy the theatre of the occult as it manifests in modern popular and subculture such as Gothic and as such is a harmless thing. However, it takes on a sinister edge according to practitioner's predilections for violence and cultural religious belief systems. It can also be unhygienic and highly unaesthetic even revolting, violent as mentioned and sexually abusive. An exorcism at a London gospel church was documented for television. It was very ugly and disturbing. The exorcism subject was a young female and the exorcist a middle aged male with mainly female onlookers. There was dribble, frenzied movement, rolling on the floor, shrieking and possibly drugs. It just seemed like a really bad acting performance and self induced mania. Why anyone would pay to have this sort of thing done to anyone they cared about is a question. The program was informative but not nice viewing. Exorcism can be a very sick and unglamorous thing obviously.
